George Porter (certified AT teacher) will present the Alexander Technique.
Local Coordinators: Friederike Beins and George Porter.
Arrivals: Friday, February 2nd, morning.
Departures: Sunday, February 11th, noon-afternoon.
We will work on developing & arranging new pieces for the current Repertoire, these will be performed in a public Presentation on Friday February 9th, Recording Sessions Saturday 10th.
This Project also offers the opportunity for work on Applied Calisthenics (led by Jacopo Bertacco), as part of our preparation towards the Presentation and the Recording Session.
Dr Mike Grenfell will offer work with individuals’ and groups’ practice within the course context and beyond.
Participants need to bring an acoustic-electric guitar (Ovation or GCPRO preferred), as well as guitar cable, XLR cable, and DI box.
This Course centering on the necessities of the Intermediate Team is available to those who have:
1. attended at least one Guitar Craft, Guitar Circle or Guitar Ensemble Course.
2. worked with and applied the principles presented.
3. their application letter accepted.
Woltersdorf is a small village ca 30 km from Berlin and its airports. Space at the EC Freizeithaus is limited, if you wish to attend please confirm asap in order to reserve your place.
Work in the House and the Kitchen will be an integral part of the course for all participants.
Supporting the Beginners team (Introduction To GE February 3rd to 8th) is a main aspect of this Course.
