Monday, January 25th, 2016 to Sunday, March 13th, 2016 · Worldwide

Directed by Mikael Weichbrodt & Hernán Nuñez
Themes: Dr. Mike Grenfell
Repertoire, Calisthenics & Quality Practice: Mikael Weichbrodt
Repertoire, Ear Training & Cross Rhythms: Horacio Pozzo

This seven week At-A-Distance Course is recommended for experienced Crafties as well as those recently introduced to this work, who wish to prepare for the GC Courses & Projects planned for 2016, as well as simply stay connected and work with others in an environment that supports their Personal Practice.

The central theme for this Course is ‘Deepening Our Practice’. This is a point of focus chosen to meet the needs of experienced Crafties worldwide at this particular moment in time, but it also offers a point of entry for Beginners into work with Quality.

An act of quality carries intention, commitment and presence, and is never accidental.

As a practical means of addressing this, our special focus for the guitar work will be Guitar Craft Theme III: Eye Of The Needle, which we will work on through Quality Practice, Applied Calisthenics, Ear Training, Cross Rhythms and more, with the aim of deepening our relationship with this remarkable and highly instructional GC Theme. As part of this, the piece will also be introduced to Beginners.

The theme of ‘Deepening Our Practice’ will then continue through all three GCE AAD Courses planned for this year, so this is an opportunity to take part in this work from the Beginning.

Further repertoire pieces planned for upcoming Performance Projects will also be introduced, among them several pieces planned for performance by The League Of Crafty Guitarists, in Argentina, in March of this year.

Our work together will also be supported by Themes Work, presented by Dr Mike Grenfell. Themes are a way to connect the guitar work with our everyday lives, and this is open to all participants on the Course.

A requirement for participation is having attended at least one Guitar Craft and/or Guitar Circle Course and having taken the principles presented seriously.

In order to participate, an Application Letter is requested:

Who are you? (please list all GC Courses that you have attended)
Why do you wish to participate?
What is your Aim?

Contribution: EUR 390
Argentina: P$ 900
